Taraknath Sutradhar and his brother are chho mask makers and dancers, but also craft wooden dolls, which has been a traditional occupation for their family for many generations, much before his forefathers moved to Chorida from Ichhagarh in Jharkhand . For nearly a decade now, the brothers have altered the look of the dolls, traditionally sold as Radha-Krishna, bride and groom, or as Tusu and Bhadu dolls for the Tusu and Bhadu festivals celebrated in the region.
