Dashabotar cards : Raja and Mantri from a Balaram suit
The twelve cards in each of the ten suits of Dashabotar cards contains a Raja (king) as an upper court card and a Mantri (minister) as a lower court card along with ten numeral cards. The two court cards in a suit carry a depiction of a specific Vishnu avatar, in this case, that of Balaram, brother of Krishna. Each numeral card in the suit carries the symbol of the avatar - the mace. Balaram is always shown carrying his mace.
